Skrewball Cinco de Mayo Cocktails

Everyone knows that Cinco de Mayo is best enjoyed with a shot of chilled tequila and a taco truckload or two… But what everyone doesn’t know is how exactly to incorporate peanut butter whiskey into their favorite tequila beverages for the special occasion. Fortunately, figuring out how to add Skrewball into the everyday is what we do best! And for those of you that aren’t thrilled by the idea of anything tequila related, we made sure to include a few extra festive surprises on our list of Cinco Skrewball cocktails made especially for you & the Krew! 🌮✨

PINEAPPLE MARGARITA

You may have already peeped our Pineapple Margarita chilling in the ‘Refreshing Summer Drinks’ category on the Skrewball website and yes, all of the rumors you’ve heard about it are in fact true… While the thought of dipping cubes of pineapple into a jar of peanut butter isn’t the most appealing mental image in the world, we can assure you – Skrewball and pineapple juice is 100% the MOVE! If you’ve still been sleeping on this flavor combo, Cinco de Mayo might serve as the perfect excuse to conquer your fear. 😉🍍

🌮RECIPE:

1.25 oz. Skrewball
.75 oz. tequila
.5 oz. sour mix
2 oz. pineapple juice

🌮INSTRUCTIONS:

Shake all ingredients into a shaker with ice
Pour into unsalted glass
Garnish with pineapple and lime

SKREWBALL CHAMOY

Is it really a true Cinco de Mayo celebration without a round of traditional chamoy drinks con sus amigos? On second thought, neo-traditional might be the more appropriate term considering we’re about to throw some Skrewball in there. 👀 What this shot lacks in tequila, it makes up for in flavor… From spicy, to tangy, sour & sweet, the Skrewball Chamoy Shot is one you’re going to want to bring home to yo momma for this Cinco season!

🌮RECIPE:

SHOT

1 oz. Skrewball
.25 oz. Chamoy
.25 oz. lime juice
.5 oz. mango juice

COCKTAIL

1.5 oz skrewball
.75 lime juice
3 oz Mango juice
.5 oz chamoy

🌮INSTRUCTIONS:

Garnish a glass with Tajin
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice
Strain into glass
Enjoy!

PASSION FRUIT MARGARITA

We’re calling this the Passion Fruit Margarita for the sake of Cinco De Mayo, but you may also know from our website as the Passionate Skrew Margarita! 🍹 Finding passion fruit pureé isn’t as difficult as one would imagine is totally worth the extra stroll down a few isles to get your hands on some. As if this cocktail wasn’t delicious enough by itself, we added a tajin rim to make sure you’re keeping it spicy for Cinco de Mayo 😏🌶

🌮RECIPE:

1.25 oz. Skrewball
0.5 oz. fresh lime juice
0.5 oz. tequila
1.5 oz. Passion fruit pureé

🌮INSTRUCTIONS:

Rim a glass with Tajin
Combine ingredients into a shaker with ice
Strain into glass
Garnish with mango wedge and lime wheel
Enjoy!

SKREWCHATA

Although this recipe only calls for two ingredients and requires the least amount of work as far as prep goes, it is also easily the most delicious one of them all – but don’t tell the others we said so. 🤫 To be fair… Skrewball + cinnamon sugar rice milk makes for some pretty tough competition. Simply combine Skrewball & Horchata into a glass and salúd! ✨

COCKTAIL

1.5 oz. Skrewball
3 oz. Horchata

SKREWBALL PALOMA

The Skrewball Paloma is one of our favorite low maintenance beverages that’s the perfect compliment to both warmer weather and Cinco de Mayo alike. Once you’ve got the necessary ingredients on hand, all you’ll need is some ice and your glass – That’s right, this is a shaker-less Cinco de Mayo concoction! All you’ll need to do is build the Skrewball, tequila, Aperol & grapefruit juice in a glass with ice, top with soda water and indulge with this refreshing, fruity cocktail. 🥃✨
