SKREWBALL SPOOKY SIPPERS
What’s one thing scarier than all of the Halloween ghouls, goblins and zombies combined? Not having a proper roster of spooky cocktails to go along with them, of course! As we begin to transition out of the summer season and into the fall, our taste buds have a tendency to pull away from some of the more zingy tropical flavors that we associate with warmer weather, and instead lean towards more complex, rich flavors that leave us feeling all warm and cozy on the inside! Now that’s not saying we want to ditch the light, fruity notes all together… But instead of relying on the trusty pineapple/OJ combo to beat the heat, we look more to flavors such as pomegranate, cherry and apple to keep things bright, but also to deliver a depth and warmth that we don’t usually crave as much in the summer. That being said, as Skrewballs we are still an innately festive bunch and can’t resist a good opportunity for some themed cocktails – and with Halloween right around the corner, we found it a fitting time to capture all of those seasonal elements and combine them into a few of our favorite Spooky Skrewball Sippers, to be enjoyed by you & your Krew! 🎃👻
