HOLIDAY COCKTAILS WITH SKREWBALL
If you love peanut butter and enjoy taking the time to design the perfect Christmas drink for friends and family, then keep reading. The following is a list of Christmas cocktails that even your hipster cousin will admire.
We all know certain holiday flavors scream Christmas. Pumpkin, apple, cinnamon, orange, and chocolate are just a few. These rich and intense flavors brighten up even the most dreary winter day. Don’t sleep on peanut butter, though. If you’re in the mood for something sweet in your drink, try Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. It’s a 70 proof American whiskey, made from corn and barley, enhanced with natural flavors, and sweetened by pure cane sugar. You can drink it neat, but it also works perfectly for cocktails at your Christmas dinner party.
THE ENGLISH HOLIDAY
First up is the English Holiday. We use absinthe to give the sweet peanut butter flavor an almost licorice twist, reminiscent of a vintage European Christmas festival.
2oz Skrewball Whiskey
2 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
Absinthe, to rinse
1 dash of chocolate bitters
Orange slice garnish
Place the whiskey and Peychaud’s bitters in a mixer with plenty of ice and stir. Rinse your cocktail glass with absinthe and a dash of chocolate bitters. Strain the cocktail into your glass and garnish with an orange slice.
SKREWGED
Second, we have the Skrewged. This is a classic Christmas cocktail you just can’t go wrong with. After all, who doesn’t love eggnog?
1 ¼ oz Skrewball Whiskey
¾ oz of Egg Nog
Build ingredients in a mug and garnish with nutmeg.
THE SKREW-DOLPH
